Zidan plays as Mainz secure survival

Mohamed Zidan played 90 minutes as Mainz held Wolfsburg to a goalless draw to secure survival in the Bundesliga.
The draw gave Mainz their 38th point, nine ahead of the bottom three clubs, with three weeks to go till the end of the season.
Egypt forward Zidan was back in the starting line-up after sitting out the last match at Bayern Munich, featuring for the whole game for the first time in over a month.
The 31-year-old, who hit seven goals for Thomas Tuchel's side since moving on loan from Borussia Dortmund in January, tasted the bitterness of relegation with Mainz in 2007 despite scoring 13 times in 15 games.
This time Die Nullfünfer - currently 11th - even have a chance of finishing in the top half of the Bundesliga table, with two games remaining against Hamburg and Borussia Moenchengladbach.
