Zidan, on loan from Borussia Dortmund, surprisingly remained as an used sub in last weekend's win at Werder Bremen, with media speculating that he was far from happy. Coach Tuchel's reply to the question about his top scorer's chances of starting against Stuttgart on Saturday was: “We'll see.” “If he said he did not move from Dortmund to Mainz to sit on the bench, then he's right,” Tuchel added. “He does not sit on the bench very often because he is an extremely important player for us.”
