Egypt and Ahli defender Ahmed Fathi is relishing the prospect of joining the Olympic team in this summer's Games in London. The 27-year-old has been tipped by U-23 coach Hany Ramzy to represent Egypt as one of three senior players, as well as Zamalek star Shikabala. “It's an honor to play in the Olympics and I hope it would be achieved,” Fathi, who has over 80 caps for Egypt, told FilGoal.com. “I will be under coach Ramzy's command to play at any position.” Fathi, Egypt's first-choice right back, can also play as a holding midfielder but Ramzy said he wants to deploy him in his natural full-back role.
