Ethiopian Coffee have qualified to meet Ahli in the CAF Champions league round of 32 after beating Coin Nord of Comoros 4-2 on aggregate. The Ethiopian champions set up the meeting against the Cairo giants after overturning their 1-0 first-leg trailing to win 4-1 in Addis Ababa on Sunday. The first leg will take place in the Ethiopian capital on 23 March as the return leg takes place a fortnight later in Cairo. In their last meeting in 1998, Coffee shockingly ousted Ahli from the competition's preliminaries with the away goal-rule, following a 3-3 aggregate draw.
