Ahli midfielder Abdullah Al-Saied will be out for a month after tearing his thigh injury in training, the Reds said. Al-Saied, who has been one of the team's stars since joining from Ismaili last summer, was forced off Tuesday's training; only the team's second session after the Port-Said disaster. The 27-year-old becomes a major doubt for the CAF Champions League opener against Coin Nord/Ethiopian Coffee on March 23. Another star player injured was Wael Gomaa, who, according to team doctor Ihab Ali, will be out for 10 days with a calf strain. Meanwhile, Ahli are set to fly to the UAE for a 10-day camp in an attempt to improve the player's poor morale after the events of Port-Said. The Egyptian league holders are expected to play a number of friendlies during the month of March, including two possible meetings with Esperance and Atletico Madrid.
