The Egyptian FA has given Zamalek 10 days to respond to the complaint filed by striker Amr Zaki over unpaid wages, or else it will commence on the procedures of terminating his contract. Zaki called on the FA this week in an attempt to get his late wages, threatening to leave the club by rescinding his contract. “We notified Zamalek about their liability to present an explanation for the case of Amr Zaki,” FA official Ahmed Al-Dabe told FilGoal.com. “The club have 10 days to respond and if they failed to, they will be given a further two-month ultimatum, after which the contract shall be automatically null and void.” It is understood that full-back Hazem Emam has followed in the footsteps of Zaki as he went to the FA headquarters to complain about his unpaid wages on Thursday. Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim voiced his dismay with the behavior of Zaki, who is regarded as one of the team's top players.
