Amr Zaki toned down his attack on the Zamalek board, but has given the Cairo club a maximum of two days to pay his late wages. The Egypt striker burst out slamming his own club over what he claimed to be ‘humiliation' on Saturday, vowing to call the FA in order to rescind his contract. However, he revealed that he had a private chat with assistant coach Ismail Youssef on Sunday as he took part in a friendly game with Telecom Egypt, scoring the fourth goal in a 4-0 win. “Coach Youssef spoke with me on Sunday, and out of respect to the managing staff, I was present at the game,” Zaki told FilGoal.com. “I was promised that the problem will be resolved and the coach assured me that the board has no intention of taking action against me for what I've said. “I was there only for the managing staff, but my stance has not changed as I only decided to give the board some time. “They have two days to pay my late wages, or else I will go to the FA to commence with the process of terminating my contract.” Zaki was close to leaving Zamalek this summer after the Whites' board accepted a €1million offer from Turkish side Sivasspor for his services, only for the 28-year-old striker to decide he wants to stay.
