Zamalek chairman Galal Ibrahim voiced his dismay after star striker Amr Zaki had filed a complaint against the club over his unpaid wages. For the second time in three months, Zaki is threatening to leave amid the club's failure to pay the wages of first-team players. The Egypt striker was calmed down by the management in his initial outburst, but this time the Zamalek board doesn't seem to swallow his behavior. “I am very sad with Zaki's behavior. We didn't expect this from a player we consider as one of the sons of the club,” chairman Ibrahim told Zamalek's website. “He wants to have his late dues, which is a legitimate right, but it shouldn't be done that way. “It is unacceptable from a player to complain against the club. The board's door is always open for the players to ask for their rights.” Full-back Hazem Emam has also threatened to call the FA in order to rescind his contract if his wages were not paid by Thursday. Out-of-favor duo Hussein Hamdi and Alaa Ali unofficially requested transfer as well due to lack of first-team football. It is understood that Zamalek boss Hassan Shehata is far from happy with the board's failure to provide players with their wages, an issue he was keen to address lately.
