Zamalek claim they have the priority over arch-rivals Ahli in signing Ismaili star Abdullah Al-Saied. According to their website, Zamalek have been informed by Ismaili that their offer is being considered seriously, as long as their bid is the highest. Ismaili are asking for EGP 13million in order to sell their top scorer, who requested transfer from the coastal club this summer. Ahli replied that the price is too high, considering that Al-Saied will be a free agent by the start of the New Year. While the 26-year-old reportedly prefers Ahli, the league champions will have to raise their bid in order to convince their bitter rivals to sell.
