Zamalek-bound manager Hassan Shehata has decided to delay his signature for the Cairo club due to ‘personal reasons'. The Master, who has been named to replace Hossam Hassan last week, was expected to sign a two-year deal on Thursday after agreeing terms with his old club. “Shehata asked to delay signing his contract until next week due to personal reasons,” Zamalek board member Tarek Ghoneim told FilGoal.com. “The board welcomed his decision as we are busy with a problem that occurred at the club today after one of the surrounds collapsed. “The delay will also give us more time to discuss Shehata's requests for the first team ahead of next season.” Shehata made a few requests to the Zamalek board regarding his squad for next season and the club said last week that his demands were accepted by the board.
