Zamalek full-back Ahmed Ghanem is well aware that his days at the club are numbered, regardless of the arrival of Hassan Shehata as manager. “The board has yet to inform me officially, but I was sure of it with the arrival of Shehata or with any other manager,” the 25-year-old told FilGoal.com. “I have some offers but I am waiting for the board to inform me that the club don't need me.” Ghanem, who runs out of contract in 2013, had been the first-choice right-back for former Zamalek coach Hossam Hassan until last March. He went down the pecking order after his poor performance in the 4-2 Champions League defeat at Tunisia's Club Africaine, expressing his willingness to leave the club this summer. FilGoal.com has learnt that he is one of a handful of players who are likely to be offloaded by Shehata, who intends to reshuffle his squad ahead of next season.
