Brazilian striker Bruno Moraes will not be moving to Ahli after failing to agree terms of his personal contract with the Cairo club. Ahli's official site stated that the 26-year-old was set to put pen to paper on a two-year deal after passing a medical at the club, but an unexpected disagreement took place. “Moraes rejected Ahli's proposal to relate his fees to the number of appearances, so the deal fell through,” Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz said. “In case he backtracked, the contract can be reactivated, but we insist on this condition and there are other players on our shortlist.” Prior to Moraes' arrival in Cairo, the agent of Cameroonian striker Christian Pouga claimed that his client is on stand-by in case the Brazilian's move to Ahli didn't work.
