Fathallah glad to fulfill father's wish

Mahmoud Fathallah was delighted to favor his late father's wish over tempting offers to leave Zamalek after signing a new contract with the Whites.
The Egypt defender ended a long phase of speculation by inking a four-year extension with the club, snubbing ‘tempting' offers from the Gulf.
“My affection towards Zamalek and its fans forced me to ignore the tempting Gulf offers,” Fathallah told FilGoal.com.
“I am also very happy to fulfill my father's wish and stay with Zamalek.
“It is the best way to respond to rumors linking me with a move to Ahli.”
Fathallah, whose father passed away last May, is playing a pivotal role for league leaders Zamalek in his fourth season with the Cairo club.
