Ahli coach Hossam Al-Badri decided to hold his team's training session on Saturday in an hotel garden as Heartland did not provide them with a proper training pitch, according to the Cairo club's official site. The Red Devils traveled to Nigeria in order to face Heartland in the CAF Champions League group stage but accused their opponents of neglecting their duties as a host team. The Egyptian champions made their first complaint against the Nigerian outfit for not providing them with internal means of transportation. Afterwards, Ahli grumbled about the training pitch and criticized Heartland for not preparing another one. Eventually, the six-time African champions had to train in a garden at the hotel they checked into, one day ahead of the game.
