Al-Sayed Hamdi scored twice to give Petrojet a 2-1 victory over Khartoum and send the Egyptian side through to the CAF Confederation Cup last 16. Petrojet advance with a 5-1 aggregate scoreline, following their 3-0 first-leg victory in Suez last month. Mokhtar Mokhtar's side were trailing by a goal after Ike Francis had given Khartoum a first-half lead, but Hamdi's second-half brace settled the game. Petrojet will meet the winner of the tie between Sfaxien of Tunisia and Ahli Tripoli. Harras Hodoud will host Ethiopian Banks on Saturday as the Alexandrians drew 1-1 in Ethiopia in the first leg.
