Al-Hadari's Palmeiras move falls through
Published in FilGoal on 27 - 02 - 2010

Brazilian side Palmeiras have decided not to pursue their interest in Essam Al-Hadari after failing to meet Ismaili's financial demands, according to the goalkeeper's official website.
Al-Hadari's website posted a letter that Palmeiras sent to Ismaili chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan to inform him they were no longer interested in signing the Egypt guardian.
"We are professional people who work with all countries in the world and we don't feel that your club are serious," Palmeiras said.
Palmeiras initially tabled a $500,000 offer to sign Al-Hadari but Ismaili rebuffed their approach.
They saw an improved $1 million bid rejected by Ismaili, who put a $1.5 million price tag on the veteran keeper.
"Your club refused our offer and asked for 50% more plus 30% of the next contract (if Palmeiras sell him to another club)," Palmeiras added.

"Your club also broke their word and we can not accept to be treated like that, so we are sorry to tell you that we cancelled the deal."
Al-Hadari, who made no secret of his desire to move abroad, is yet to comment on Palmeiras' announcement.
The 37-year-old was infuriated after Ismaili rejected two offers for him from Sudanese giants Merreikh and English side Watford during the January transfer window.
He skipped training for several days to protest their decision but apologized later on.
Al-Hadari, who joined Ismaili from Swiss side Sion last summer, has been in inspirational form since helping Egypt win the African Cup of Nations last month.
He was particularly praised for pulling off a string of impressive saves in Ismaili's 1-1 Egyptian Premier League draw with Arab Contractors earlier this week.
