Ismaili still await Palmeiras' confirmation over whether they are ready to sign keeper Essam Al-Hadari for $1.5 million, chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan said on Friday. Brazilian side Palmeiras upped their bid for Al-Hadari to $1 million after having an initial 500,000-offer turned down by Ismaili. However, the Dervishes set a new asking price which Palmeiras are yet to meet. "They are to yet to confirm whether they will pursue their interest in Al-Hadari although we asked them for a quick response," Aboul-Hassan told FilGoal.com. "There are no direct talks between Ismaili and Palmeiras, we are contacting them through agent Mohamed Youssef. "We just need them to make a final decision over whether they want to sign Al-Hadari. "They were the ones who wanted to end the matter quickly because the transfer window in Brazil shuts at the end of March." Al-Hadari, who made no secret of his desire to move abroad, pleaded with Ismaili to let him depart on several occasions. He was infuriated by the club's decision to reject two offers for him from Sudanese giants Merreikh and English side Watford in January. The veteran goalie has been in inspirational form since helping Egypt win the African Cup of Nations last month. He was particularly praised for pulling off a string of impressive saves in Ismaili's 1-1 Egyptian Premier League draw with Arab Contractors earlier this week.
