Real Madrid defender Christoph Metzelder revealed his frustration at his lack for first-team football as he looks set to leave the Bernabeu in the summer. The 29-year-old German, who moved from Borussia Dortmund in 2007, will run out of contract in June, putting an end to three dismal seasons with Real. "I do not think that the club will extend my contract," Metzelder told Kicker. "But even if things suddenly changed then I would look to end my adventure at Real Madrid. "I dreamed of playing alongside such players, but in all honesty, they have been three lost years." Metzelder's club status cost him a place in the National Mannschaft, who will most likely be without him in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
