Egypt striker Emad Meteb will most probably miss the African Cup of Nations final due to a hamstring strain, according to the team's medical staff. The Ahli star sustained the injury in the African champions' 4-0 win over Algeria in the semi-finals on Thursday. Meteb made way for Hossam Ghaly in the second half of the game and he was clearly suffering a problem. "He picked up a hamstring injury and he's likely to miss the final," Egypt's assistant coach Hamada Sedki said. "There is no enough time between the semi-finals and the final, so his chance to be fit for the game is slim." The Pharaohs are facing Ghana in the Nations Cup final on Sunday and will set a new record should they claim the continental title for a third successive time.
