Gabon boss Alain Giresse admitted that he wanted his team to draw with Tunisia in the African Cup of Nations. Both teams played out an exciting goalless draw on Sunday that saw both team squander a host of scoring chances. Although the Black Panthers could have well won the game, Giresse said he didn't aim for more than one point. "Yes I wanted the game to end goalless, it's a very important and precious point," he told Al-Jazeera TV. Gabon are now on top of Group D with four points, whereas the Eagles of Cartage are third on two. "We played a good game and now we have four points. We are happy with the result and our place," he added.
