FilGoal.com brings you the best picks from the second round of the group stage of the 2010 African Cup of Nations. Title-favorites Egypt and Ivory Coast marched their way into the knockout stage, with the Elephants thumping Ghana 3-1 in Cabinda and the Pharaohs setting a new record with an easy win over Mozambique. Highlight of the first round: Egypt's unbeaten run Egypt set a new record of 15 unbeaten matches in a row, including 14 under the management of Hassan Shehata. The six-time African champions smashed Cameroon's previous record of 14 matches between 1984 and 1988. Best Player: Flavio (Angola) Once again the former Ahli hitman opens the scoring for his team with another deadly header, to become the competition's top scorer with three goals in two games. Best Goal: Siaka Tiene (Ivory Coast) vs. Ghana A wonderfully-placed freekick from the Ivory Coast full-back. Best Sub: Mohamadou Idrissou (Cameroon) Idrissou came on as a second-half substitute to score the winning goal for Cameroon against Zambia with a fine header; could be a crucial goal in the Lions' campaign. Biggest Upset: Gabon top Group D Alain Giresse's Gabon managed to keep a clean sheet against Group D favorites Tunisia, just like they did against Cameroon in the opener. Against all odds, the Black Panthers become favorites to win the group after stunning the Indomitable Lions and frustrating Tunisia in Lubango. Funniest Moment: Mweene's Blunder Everything was going well for the Zambians against Cameroon until goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene turned the game upside down with a bizarre gaffe. It might be funny for the neutral, but this one is nightmarish to every Zambia fan.
