Zamalek have filed an official protest to the Egyptian FA against referee Yasser Mahmoud, who officiated the Whites' 2-0 win at Asyut Petroleum. Even though they've won easily against the relegation strugglers, Zamalek were unhappy with some decisions of the inexperienced referee. "The referee ignored two reasonable penalty claims for us, he also ruled out a valid goal for offside," Zamalek board member Hazem Emam told FilGoal.com. "We are asking the FA not to hand Mahmoud any games we are involved in." Another Protest In the same manner, Zamalek protested against the FA's decision to delay the U-20 league game with bitter rivals Ahli. "It is unacceptable that the FA have decided to postpone the match without informing Zamalek," Emam added. "I think they decided to delay the game because (Ahli first-team coach) Hossam Al-Badri promoted several youth players recently." Ahli boss Al-Badri was forced to call some youth players as backup, amid the Red Devils' endless injury problems of late.
