Bayern Munich wasted a host of scoring opportunities to draw 0- 0 at home to Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday. The German giants were by far the better side at Allianz Arena and were unlucky not to open the scoring in the first half. Their best chance fell to inspirational winger Franck Ribery in the 19th minute when he skipped past two defenders inside the area but dinked his shot over the crossbar. Bayern continued to pile on pressure but couldn't make the breakthrough as Juventus defended in numbers and looked determined to get a point from the game. Dutch winger Arjen Robben, who was a constant threat in the first half, had to be replaced just before halftime after picking up an injury. "We'll have the diagnosis of Robben's injury tomorrow but he said he thinks it's bad," Bayern coach Louis van Gaal told reporters after the game. Group A leaders Bayern are level on four points with French side Bordeaux, who defeated Israel's Maccabi Haifa 1-0 thanks to a Michael Ciani goal with seven minutes remaining.
