Manchester United could be boosted by the return of Rio Ferdinand in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash at Tottenham Hotspur. According to United's official site, Sir Alex Ferguson said that the England defender is fit to make his first Premiership appearance this season. Ferdinand has been ruled out with a thigh problem since the Community Shield defeat to Chelsea last month. In the same manner, defenders Fabio, Gary Neville and Wes Brown have been declared fit for the weekend's clash, but John O'Shea is a major doubt.
