Emad Meteb dished out an assist as Saudi giants Ittihad came back from a goal down to claim a 3-1 away victory over Qatar's Umm Salal in the AFC Champions League on Wednesday. The hosts took the lead after 28 minutes, thanks to a goal from striker Ibrahim N'Diaye. Meteb had a hand in Hamad Al Montashari's equalizer four minutes before the break. The Egypt's striker overhead kick deflected off a defender and found the unmarked Al-Montashari, who made no mistake from close range. The 26-year-old, who is on loan from Cairo giants Ahli until the end of the season, helped Brazilian midfielder Renato put Ittihad ahead on 56 minutes. Renato exchanged passes with Meteb on the edge of the area to fire past the keeper. Moroccan forward Hicham Aboucherouane wrapped up the victory three minutes later. Meteb, who said recently he was still undecided over whether to stay at Ittihad beyond the summer, notched 13 goals for the Jeddah side in all competitions.
