Substitute Emad Meteb scored deep into stoppage time to lead Ittihad Jeddah to a priceless 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Ahli in the Saudi League on Friday. Ittihad went to the lockers room one up, thanks to a 38th-minute strike by Moroccan forward Hicham Aboucherouane. Moataz Al-Moussa leveled the score in the 57th minute but Egyptian striker Meteb, who was introduced in the second half, gave Ittihad a precious win three minutes into the additional time. He precisely controlled a left-wing cross before firing a left-footed volley that went into the roof of the net, despite being under pressure. Meteb, who joined Ittihad on a season-long loan from Egyptian champions Ahli, took his tally to four goals in the league, just one behind teammate Aboucherouane, who is the competition's top scorer. The victory helped Ittihad extend their lead on top of the league table to five points. Watch the match's goal
