Meteb rested for Ittihad's league match

Ittihad Jeddah striker Emad Meteb has been rested for his side's Saudi League game against Wehda on Friday.
“Argentinean coach Gabriel Calderon preferred to rest Meteb because he arrived from international duty just 24 hours before the match,” the player's agent Nader Shawki told FilGoal.com.
“Moroccan forward Hicham Aboucherouane and Omani midfielder Ahmed Hadid will be missing for the same reason.”
Meteb scored twice to help Egypt hammer Benin 5-1 in an international friendly at Cairo Stadium on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old, who joined Ittihad on a season-long loan from Ahli in the close season, is the Saudi League's joint top scorer with five goals.
Teammates Aboucherouane and Mohamed Noor notched the same number of goals.
