Ittihad Jeddah are on brink of terminating Emad Meteb's loan contract, according to reports from Saudi Arabia. Several Saudi papers, including Al-Madinah and Al-Riyadh, stated that Ittihad coach Gabriel Calderon is no more willing to keep Meteb in his side. Papers said that the Argentine coach has already omitted the on-loan Ahli striker from Wednesday's game with Shabab. Calderon's stance with Meteb is largely due to the latter's furious reaction upon being substituted in last weekend's 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Ahli Jeddah. Moreover, the Egypt international's agent revealed that his client is threatening to leave Itti because of late dues. Ittihad have reportedly started looking for a new striker, and the names of Kuwait's Badr Mutawaa and Iraq's Youness Mahmoud have been mentioned. Meteb, whose loan contract ends in the summer, is currently joint top scorer at Ittihad with eight league goals in 17 games.
