Ismaili assistant coach Khaled Al-Qammash confirmed that the club have finished preparations for their Arab Champions League (ACL) first round game against Busaiteen on Wednesday. "We're 100% ready for the game, Busaiteen are the Bahraini champions and we respect them as much as any other team," Al-Qammash told FilGoal.com. "ACL is a very competitive championship and we are target winning this year's title." Meanwhile, club right-back Islam Taher expressed his frustration at being informed of his exclusion out of Ismaili's ACL squad list just one day before the Bastin game. "Obviously I'm disappointed. I did my best to earn a place in the competition's squad list but it all went in vain," Taher said. "No club should treat a player like that. If I'm surplus to the club's requirements then they should let me leave."
