Ismaili won't punish players despite stunning defeat

Ismaili chairman Nassr Aboul-Hassan said the club have no intention of punishing the players following the team's stunning 2-0 home defeat to Police Union on Saturday.
"We can't blame the players. They played to their potential but maybe they are not good enough to carry out their duties," Aboul-Hassan told FilGoal.com on Sunday.
"We will be seeking reinforcements when the transfer window reopens in January."
The Dervishes slumped to their third league defeat this season, thanks to two dreadful errors from goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi.
Ismaili's hopes of competing for the league title are gradually fading as they slipped to fourth spot in the table.
Brazilian manager Ricardo Ferreira called on his players to forget the Police defeat and concentrate on their upcoming Arab Champions League game against Busaiteen on Wednesday.
Ismaili defeated the Bahraini side 3-1 at home in the first-leg of the ACL round of 32.
