Petrojet continued their bright start to their Egyptian League campaign after claiming a 3-1 victory over Olympic in Suez on Saturday. Goals from Zeka Goory, Mahmoud Abdul-Hakim and Mohamed Samara helped Petrojet secure their third successive win in Egypt's premier competition. Karim Adel scored the consolation for newcomers Olympic, who failed to build on their 2-0 win over Arab Contractors earlier this month. Petrojet occupy the league's summit with nine points while Alexandria-based club Olympic lie 11th on three points. Ivorian striker Goory put the petroleum club in front after 14 minutes when he converted Osama Hassan's cross from the left. Left-back Hassan has been one of the main driving forces behind Petrojet's fine run, thanks to his neat crosses. The in-form Goory took his tally to four goals in three matches as he leads the goalscorers' chart. Playmaker Abdul-Hakim extended Petrojet's advantage in the 75th minute through a delicate shot. Substitute Adel narrowed the gap for Olympic four minutes later after a goal-mouth scramble. But Samara wrapped up Petrojet's win four minutes before the final whistle when he latched onto Goory's pass, sidestepped his marker before firing home.
