Zeka Goory's first-half goal gave Petrojet a 1-0 home victory over Harras Al-Hodoud in their Egyptian League opener on Saturday. The Ivorian striker scored the winner with a precise header three minutes past the hour mark. Goory was the liveliest performer throughout the game, bothering Al-Hodoud's defense on many occasions. He had a decent shot that narrowly missed the target before squandering a golden opportunity to double Petrojet's lead when he went one-on-one with Al-Hodoud keeper. Al-Hodoud had some efforts through striking duo Abdul-Hamid Bassiouni and Ahmed Eid. However, the military club, who qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final, failed to claim the equalizer.
