Wigan Athletic target Amr Zaki has sent a letter to the Egyptian FA demanding to terminate his contract with Zamalek. The combative striker claims that Zamalek haven't paid him his dues since November last year. "I'm sure the Egyptian FA will give me the green light to terminate my contract with Zamalek," Zaki said. "According to the FA regulations, I should be able to leave because the club did not fulfill its financial obligation towards me." Zaki apparently wants to depart Zamalek due to his strained relationship with the club's chairman Mamdouh Abbas. Earlier this year, Abbas promised Zaki he would allow him to move abroad following the Egyptian Cup final. However, Abbas is reluctant to accept Wigan's offer to sign Zaki on a season-long loan. But Zaki, who scored Zamalek's winner against his former club ENPPI in the Egyptian Cup final, is determined to fulfill his dream of playing in Europe.
