AS Roma skipper Francesco Totti has been left out of the squad that will face Manchester United in the return-leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday. The Roma talisman is still nursing a thigh injury that had ruled him out of the first leg that United won 2-0 last Tuesday. After a week of controversy on whether the Italian international will be available for the Old Trafford clash, the Serie A club confirmed his absence when they announced the complete squad on their website. Coach Luciano Spalletti had hinted after Roma's game against Genoa on Saturday that he would prefer to rest Totti for the Manchester trip, in a sign the bald-headed manager had conceded his team was out of the European competition. Spalletti, however, will have at his disposal midfielder Alberto Aquilani who missed Saturday's 3-2 win over Genoa with a right foot injury.
