After having a series of problems with Inter Milan, Brazilian striker Adriano has yet again caused controversy at Sao Paulo, where he plays on loan from the Nerazzurri. The 26-year-old has arrived late for a training session this week, after which he left the pitch without permission. "He left the training ground because he wanted to. The team does not miss him,” sporting director Marco Aurelio Cunha was quoted by Calcio Italia. "If he is not happy at Sao Paulo he is free to go. He should learn from Carlos Alberto, who came here with lots of troubles but has been giving his best." Adriano's past three seasons have been marred with off-the-field problems, which saw the explosive striker getting down the pecking order at San Siro. He was loaned out to the Paulista side in an attempt to regain form and fitness, and is expected to return to Inter by the end of the season.
