Essam Al-Hadari slightly twisted his ankle in Sunday's training session but the minor injury will not rule him out of Egypt's African Cup of Nations opener against Cameroon. "Our goalie was injured due to the poor state of the pitch," Egypt trainer Hamada Sedki told FilGoal.com. "Thankfully, there is no swelling. Al-Hadari should be fit to participate in training on Monday." The defending champions open their CAN campaign against four-time winners Cameroon on Tuesday. Striker Emad Meteb took part in training after recovering from flu. He may start alongside Amr Zaki upfront against the Indomitable Lions. Meanwhile, Sedki said Pharaohs coach Hassan Shehata will have the final word over whether to field Ibrahim Saied in the anticipating game. The talented defender has just recovered from a knee injury but Shehata will determine his availability for the game.
