Egypt will have to cope without star goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari when they take on Botswana in the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday. Al-Hadari has suffered an injury to his knee in Ahli's African Champions League match against ASEC last Sunday. The Ahli goalkeeper underwent an MRI on Tuesday that showed he was suffering from a bruise to his knee and will require a week treatment, Egypt trainer Hamada Sedki told FilGoal.com. Sedki said that national team doctor Ahmed Maged may choose to take Al-Hadari along in the trip to Botswana and help him recover. Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef will probably deputize for Al-Hadari while ENPPI's Mostafa Kamal will tag along as a reserve goalkeeper.
