Ahli have sacked translator Ahmed Abdou after he was involved in a dispute with Portuguese manager Manuel Jose, a club source said on Friday. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told FilGoal.com that a problem occurred between both men during Ahli's trip to Libya to face Ittihad in the CAF Champions League. The decision to relieve Abdou of his duties came right after Ahli's goalless draw with Ittihad but the Egyptian champions delayed the official announcement until after Tersana game in the Egyptian League. The news comes as a bit of surprise given the warm relationship between the 61-year-old coach and Abdou. The anonymous source did not disclose the kind of dispute that happened but stressed that it was the sole reason behind Abdou's sacking. The Red Devils are looking now for a new man to replace Abdou.
