Manuel Jose's future with Ahli will be cleared up on Thursday before the Portuguese flies to his homeland for his yearly vacation, according to a club source. Widespread reports suggest that Jose's honeymoon with Ahli will end sooner rather than later. The 62-year-old's deal runs out at the end of the season and he is apparently reluctant to pen a new deal for undetermined reasons. However, an Ahli official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, clarified some of Jose's thoughts. "Jose demanded the club to sign ten new players throughout the next season," the source told FilGoal.com on Wednesday. "The problem is that some of those players are tied to their clubs, who are not willing to offload them. That's why Ahli might not be able to fulfill his demand. "Jose wants to strengthen his squad, which was hit by a string of injuries during the course of the season." Jose will fly to Portugal right after Ahli's Egyptian League match against Aluminum on Thursday.
