Catania manager Silvio Baldini will be fined by his club after he kicked Parma coach Dominico Di Carlo in the backside during the 2-2 Serie A draw on Sunday. Baldini was sent off in his first game in charge of the Sicilian side after the shameful act towards his Parma counterpart. "A code of conduct exists at the club for everyone, including the coach. Because of this Baldini will be fined," general manager Pietro Lo Monaco told Italian media on Monday. "I hope however this episode does not cause a demagogy. Catania and the people of Catania had nothing to do with what happened." The Catania boss could be also sanctioned by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) after the Italian governing body condemned his behavior. "The disciplinary body will now decide but to have this episode as the image of the first day of the championship does no good for soccer," FIGC president Giancarlo Abete told Radio Uno.
