England star David Beckham has been unveiled by his new American club LA Galaxy in a massive press conference on Friday. Beckham was presented by the MLS side in front of more than 5,000 supporters at the team's Home Depot Center Stadium, and the former Real Madrid winger can't wait for his 'dream' start. "I'm looking forward to starting training next week, I'm looking forward to the first game, I'm looking forward to the support that you've all shown me throughout my career, not just since I've been here in Los Angeles," he said. "Thank you to everybody that's made this happen, made my dream come true."
Real failed to keep Beckham Despite leaving Europe, which is considered the heart of football in the world, Beckham believes he still has something to prove. "In my career I have played for two of the biggest club sides in the world, Manchester United and Real Madrid. I have played for 11 years for my country and I am still playing for my country," he added. "This is one of the biggest challenges that I have ever taken on in my career. I have always looked for challenges in my career and something exciting in my life. "I think potentially in the States soccer can be as big as it is everywhere else around the world and I'm very proud to be part of that. I am going to be part of that for the next five years and maybe a few more years after. " Beckham's impressive recent form helped Real Madrid to clinch the Spanish Primera Liga last season, but it was too late for the Royal club to keep him.
