The Egyptian Football Association have appointed a Spanish referees' staff to officiate the Egyptian Cup final clash between Ahli and Zamalek on Monday night. "The match will be led by Alfonso Perez who will be assisted by Victor Diaz and Roberto Hernandez," said Mahmoud Othman, the referees' committee spokesman. Othman added that the Spanish staff is expected to arrive in Cairo on Sunday night. Perez, 41, is a will known referee in Spain and led 19 games in the Primera Liga including El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona last October. Ahli are aiming to clinch the double for the second successive season after winning the Egyptian League title. Zamalek will be looking to grab their first piece of silverware since 2004, after enjoying a fine spell with French boss Henri Michel.
