Croatian referee Ivan Bebek will officiate Monday's Cairo derby between Ahli and Zamalek, the Egyptian Football Association announced on Thursday. Refereeing committee president Gamal Al-Ghandour said the Croatian Football Federation have accepted their demand to appoint a referee for the much-anticipated game. The 30-year-old Bebek has become an international referee in 2003. He took part in the U-17 World Cup in South Korea, which Nigeria won. Zamalek, who suffered a 4-3 defeat to Ahli in the Egyptian Cup final despite having the lead three times, host the Red Devils in the league on Monday.
