Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi said Beshir Al-Tabie met him on Wednesday and demanded to join the Egyptian champions even though he has recently agreed to move to Zamalek. "I received a phone call from Al-Tabie, who wanted to see me to discuss a possible transfer to Ahli," Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com. "He told me that he doesn't want to join Zamalek and demanded me to contact Rizespor officials in order to sign him. I refused his request and told him you must send a fax to the Turkish club and inform them of your wish. "Al-Tabie did so and told Rizespor officials to send his international clearance to Ahli," Al-Qaeyi added. Al-Qaeyi revealed that he reached an agreement with Al-Tabie regarding financial matters and intended to inform Ahli coach Manuel Jose, who would have the final word on whether to proceed negotiations or not. However, the combative defender astonished the Ahli official after he attended Zamalek's Egyptian Cup semi-final clash against Asyut Petroleum, where he denied that he will join Ahli. "What Al-Tabie did is unexplained, but his action will prompt us to halt all negotiations because it is clear that the player doesn't know what he wants to do," Al-Qaeyi said. It is unclear what will be Al-Tabie's destination although Zamalek have recently announced his signing worth $150,000 for Rizespor.
