Egyptian star striker Mohamed Zidan scored a magnificent goal to help Mainz snatch a point from Hamburg 2-2 in the Bundesliga on Sunday. Once again Zidan showed up some of his magic as he received the ball in midfield and dribbled to the area before going brilliantly past a Hamburg defender to open the score with a powerful shot that went directly to the top corner ('12). Argentinean Juan Pablo Sorin scored the equalizer 11 minutes later from the spot. Fabian Gerber put the visitors again in front (59) but they could only hold to the 83rd minute as Jose Paolo Guerreo brought it back level. The result doesn't help Mainz who are in the danger area as they are 17th of the 18 team table with 31 points. Zidan is sixth in the Bundesliga scorers chart with 12 goals, 7 behind top scorer Theofanis Gekas (Bochum). But the talented Egyptian striker has the best scoring average, 0,71% as he scored 12 goals in only 17 games.
