Follow-up-Khaled Talaat: Strasbourg winger Ahmed Abou-Mosallam said on Friday he doesn't plan to return to Egypt despite his side's status in the French Ligue 2. "I received several offers from leading clubs in the Egyptian League but I'm just concentrating on helping Strasbourg regain their position in the top flight," Abou-Mosallam told FilGoal.com. Abou-Mosallam joined Strasbourg from Cairo giants Ahli in January 2006 to accompany Egypt international midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou who moved to the French club from Ismaili. But their season turned out to be a disaster after a string of bad results led to their relegation. Abd-Rabou returned to Ismaili but Abou-Mosallam opted to continue the French adventure. "I was depressed following Strasbourg's relegation and Abd-Rabou's return to Ismaili and thought seriously of leaving the club and going back to Egypt," Abou-Mosallam said. "Things became stable now, my team is doing well in Ligue 2 as they lie third with 45 points and have a very good chance of sealing promotion to the first division." The 25-year-old midfielder said he is happy to play regularly and expressed his hope to maintain his good displays this season.
