Russia coach Guus Hiddink has denied reports suggesting that he is lined up to replace Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho at the end of the season. "I have definitely not spoken to (Chelsea owner) Roman Abramovich about moving to Chelsea this summer," Hiddink told The Mail on Sunday. "I am coach of the Russian national team and will continue in that job until the summer of 2008." The former South Korea and Holland boss was linked with a move to Chelsea due to the reported rift between Mourinho and Abramovic. The Portuguese boss wanted to strengthen his backline during the January transfer window only to be rebuffed by Abramovic, who refused to spend more money on new recruitments. In an interview with The Observer in last December, the 40-year-old Abramovic said the club were planning to depend on youth academy rather than luring big-name signings.
