Dutch manager Guus Hiddink revealed on Thursday that Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich, Chelsea's owner, called him offering to take over as manager of the club following the shock departure of coach Jose Mourinho. "Abramovich asked me 'What do you want?'. I told him that right now I want to do nothing else except concentrate on Russia. I want to see this through now and then see what happens. We like living in Moscow and they seem to like us," said Hiddink, who is currently in charge of Russia told the Daily Express on Thursday. Abramovich pays half Hiddink's 1.2 million pounds-a-year wages but he could still have to wait until Russia's campaign in the Euro 2008 is over. "We have started a project here with this team and they want us to stay for another two years after the European Championships," added the Dutchman. The 60-year-old have a reputation of a specialist in World Cups. Russia hope he could lead them to the 2010 South Africa event and also built a new team to help revive their glory. Chelsea have been linked with a numerous of coaches such as Dutch national coach Marco van Basten and former Germany boss Jurgen Klinsmann have both been tipped as possible replacements for Mourinho. However the clubs issued a statement on Wednesday insisting that no one had been offered the job and that Avram Grant has a permanent deal.
