Olympic vice-president Amr Moselhi called on the Egyptian Football Association's referees committee to be careful whenever naming a referee for an Egyptian League match. The struggling side were denied a home draw against Zamalek on Friday when referee Mohamed Rashwan awarded the Cairo giants a controversial penalty in stoppage time. Amr Zaki converted the ball home to widen Olympic's misery as they lie second from bottom with just 14 points. "Rashwan awarded Zamalek an undeserved penalty after the players protested against his earlier decision to disallow their goal for offside," Moselhi told FilGoal.com after the match. "He was affected by the visitors' psychological pressure on him. "I hope that the referees' committee will choose suitable officials for the upcoming matches because a result like today could lead to our relegation from the top flight," he added. Meanwhile, Zamalek coach Henri Michel hailed the character of his players after snatching a last-gasp winner. "Scoring such a decisive goal in the dying minutes proves that Zamalek players have a never-say-die attitude," the French boss told a post-match press conference.
