Hossam Mabrouk hammered a superb finish home after the break as ENPPI edged 1-0 past title challengers Ismaili in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday. Mabrouk was found unmarked by Farag Shalabi's neat pass inside the area and the ENPPI striker dinked his first goal of the season into the roof of the net to secure the three points. Ismaili's second defeat this campaign left them in second place with 38 points, just two ahead of Zamalek, who beat Petrojet 2-1 earlier on the same day. ENPPI moved up to 12th spot with 19 points. It was ENPPI's first victory under new manager Hany Ramzy, who replaced German coach Rainer Zobel earlier in January.
